The first sightings of the oncoming winter appeared just last week with a ccool, crisp fog rolling in. I like the fog, it's mysterious.

....We spent a wonderful weekend in the country town of Bright. This tiny place is nestled at the foothills of Victoria's ski fields and around this time of the year the wonderful colours of autumn are starting to come through. Highlights included The Brown Brothers wine extravaganza, The Bright Brewery and a star filled night sky.

I was playing that Paul Kelly song in the car the other day and realised it was the first time that I had done so as i past the famous Nylex Clock. A great song and iconic symbol of Melbourne.
