A great day at the Soccer (sorry, Football) last Sunday. A festive and friendly atmosphere was matched by a scintillating performance by the Melbourne Victory. A scoreline of 5-0 (against Sydney FC) left the loyal hordes (18,206 to be exact)happy as we trotted off to the Corner Hotel for some more beverages.

The much vaunted and much anticipated
A-League has kicked off and seems to be going from strength to strength. For those of you wondering what it's all about i'll explain. It is Australia's new soccer (or Football to the majority of the world) competition. There is a team from my city, called the
Melbourne Victory who on recent form (3 wins in row), are showing signs of developing into a top side. I'll be attending with some friends and will report back on the game. Go Victory!!!!!

I've been after a new computer for a while now and have been seriously thinking about 'switching' to the Mac world and have just stumbled across the new release
iMac. New features include a built in iSight Camera, Front Row (which is Apple's version of a Media Centre), a IR Remote Control, updated Graphics Card, Mighty Mouse (two button, that is) and a slight bump in Processor Speed. HHhhhmmm, what a lovely machine. I want one. Donations generously accepted! * Photo courtesy of

....just saw a film called 'Crash'. A wonderfully crafted film about racial stereotypes in modern day America (and everywhere for that matter). I highly recommend it.
