Mooloolaba is a 'reasonably' quiet coastal town on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Unlike the Surfers Paradise, it's a rather relaxed, 'out of the way' seaside resort. The beach is fantastic. We stayed at a place called the Seaview Apartments and were lucky enough to get the best apartment in the building (No. 50, if you're interested)...oh and thanks for that, Rob! We can't leave without mentioning the amazing pizza at Aguello's. Divine. The is the South-Eastern view from our balcony.
The cute little township of Eumundi (about 35kms West of Noosa), is most famous for it's Market which is held every Wed & Sat. Stall owners sell their wares to the hundreds of tourist and local who decend upon this famous little town. We indulged in some Tibetan momo's, Vegeatarian fare from the Hare Krishna cafe and took home some Argentinean dip/sauce. Highly recommended.
.....The drive from Noosa Heads to Mooloolaba isn't that long, but there are some scenic lookout points to stop for a moment of mid afternoon gazing out to sea. With romantic ideals and a warm breeze.....these days are hard to beat....

....Have spent the last few days relaxing on the Sunshine Coast. Taking in the warmth of 'summer-like' weather that is currently missing in our home town of Melbourne. Noosa Heads Beach is a great location with golden sands, crystal clear waters and g-strings aplenty.
