.....with the end of the English Premier League came an 'end-of-season' luncheon at Melbourne's Transport Hotel. This Pub/Bar is located at Federation Square. It's location can't be beaten right near the Yarra River, Swanston St, St. Kilda Rd and Flinders Street station. One of the busiest intersections in Melbourne. The bar also houses an impressive beer collection.

.....ahhhh, Great friends, Coopers Ale, The Espy Hotel, St. Kilda Beach.....it doesn't get much better than this, with your clothes on!
Whilst taking in the sites of Melbourne, we decided to stop for a spot of tennis. Of course, we couldn't just play any old court, but this is Margaret Court. The 6,000 seater stadium (named after Australia's legendary female Grand Slam winner) that is home to the Australian Open (Tennis) in January each year. We had a great day out, the weather was fantastic and we played haaaaard. Forehand.....backhand...forehand, backhand.
In the last few weeks I've (we've) entertained my lovely friend Jen. It has been a pleasure to see her, hang out with her and catch up on the last 9 years...finally doing it, face-to-face. Some people come and go in life but the special ones are always there. Jen, you are a wonderful human being. We miss you! R&V
