I can feel an adventure coming on. I think this time, we'll stick within Australia. Send money and i'll reveal more.

.....last night, Melbourne sent off the Socceroos in style. A crowd of over 95,000 fans witnessed Australia beat a very disappointing Greece 1-0. Our performance was overall, very good and a sign that a couple of upsets during the World Cup isn't beyond us especially with the likes of Kewell, Cahill and Schwarzer to return. The goal came from a perfectly crafted corner, thus showing Hiddink's influence and tactical 'nouse' really coming through. The players have embraced his style and he will surely be missed following his departure (after the WC).
As you may be aware, Melbourne is home to the 3rd largest Greek Community in the world. So, it was a wonderful atmosphere, almost like a 'love-in', something which rarely happens with crowds watching football.

...great (early) transfer news. After much speculation Bulgarian International Striker, Dimitar Berbatov has signed for
Tottenham Hotspur . He comes with a great reputation and a history of proven goalscoring ability. Hopefully this will be the first of a few majors signings this summer. Come on ye Spurs. *Photo courtesy of

We had a great night last Saturday (13th) at a small little bar in St. Kilda East,
The Local. It's a lively watering hole offering cool music, a laid back environment and comfy couches. Heads up to the young lady behind the bar (sorry, didn't get your name) who offered up some free shots and left me (Trig) rather legless by some ungodly hour. Airo, it must be said, also enjoyed herself immensely. The reason we happened upon The Local was a going away party for some family. Stories of far away places, dodgy plane rides and the pumping heart of our town, Melbourne were exchanged. So, P &
N, go well, travel safe and enjoy the World. *photo courtesy of The Local, 184 Carlisle St, St. Kilda East (Melbourne, Australia)*

.....Well, it's been about 4 months since we got back on terra firma Australia. Addiction is hard to cure, and the travel bug has me again. I'm thinking of Spain. Maybe San Sebastian......oh big metal bird, take me away.
