We had a great night last Saturday (13th) at a small little bar in St. Kilda East, The Local. It's a lively watering hole offering cool music, a laid back environment and comfy couches. Heads up to the young lady behind the bar (sorry, didn't get your name) who offered up some free shots and left me (Trig) rather legless by some ungodly hour. Airo, it must be said, also enjoyed herself immensely. The reason we happened upon The Local was a going away party for some family. Stories of far away places, dodgy plane rides and the pumping heart of our town, Melbourne were exchanged.
