The Late Show featuring the Socceroos

After a 32 year absence from the biggest competition in the world, The
FIFA World Cup,
Australia's appearance certainly didn't let us down. Although, it has given us some heart palpitations. The game against Japan didn't have the perfect start with a dubious goal being allow. Aussie keeper, Mark Schwarzer was fouled (clearly). However, the referee didn't see it that way and the goal stood. In the second half, coach Hiddink made his moves bringing on attackers Kennedy, Cahill and Aloisi. To the delight of fans, Australia surged in the last 10 minutes, scoring 3 goals and grabbing a vital win to send them top of the group. A stunning result. Go you Socceroos!
